BWF Technical Officials Manager

BWF is recruiting a Technical Officials Manager to work in the Events Department at the BWF headquarters in Kuala Lumpur.

Reporting to the Senior Technical Events Manager, the Technical Officials Manager is responsible for the effective implementation of all BWF Technical Officials programmes, and related development activities, including the existing volunteer and semi-professional referee and umpire programmes, educational resources development and production, and helping to build upon existing continental confederation and member association technical officials recruitment, education, training, and development initiatives.

Badminton Europe – Senior Manager – Development & High Performance

Badminton Europe is seeking a Senior Manager for a full-time position to join its head office in Copenhagen, Denmark.

The Senior Manager will be responsible for the overall management of the Development and High Performance areas within Badminton Europe, including oversight of the BEC Centre of Excellence, Development Programmes, Member Structures, Para-Badminton and Women in Badminton. The work will include some travelling and some flexibility in working hours will be required.

Badminton Europe – Junior Communication Managers (2 Positions)

Badminton Europe is seeking two Junior Managers in the field of Communication for full-time positions to join its head office in Copenhagen, Denmark.

  • Position 1: Communication – Journalist
  • Position 2: Communication – Video editor/graphical designer

The Junior Managers will be responsible for the news coverage and for the creation and production of engaging and innovative content for the biggest platforms for Badminton Europe. This may include attending and covering European Championships and other prestigious badminton tournaments in Europe. The work will include some travelling and some flexibility in working hours will be required.

Badminton Oceania Communications & Event Manager

Badminton Oceania is recruiting a Communications & Event Manager to join a team of four full-time staff members who are responsible for day to day operations. The Communications & Event Manager will report to the Secretary General/CEO and work out of the Badminton Office Oceania in Ellerslie, Auckland.

This newly created position is primarily to develop, co-ordinate and manage and grow Badminton Oceania’s communications channels and to oversee and co-ordinate administration and operations for BWF Grade 3 events, Oceania Championships and Para-badminton events in the region.

BWF Marketing Manager

BWF is recruiting a Marketing Manager to work in the Marketing & Communications Department at the BWF headquarters in Kuala Lumpur.

The BWF’s Marketing Manager is an integral part of the Marketing and Communications team and is responsible for developing, implementing, executing and assisting with implementation of (where other departments drive implementation) strategic marketing plans for the entire organisation (or for departments and projects within the organisation).

The key focus is to assist to attract potential fans and participants to the sport of badminton and retain existing ones, but is also related to profiling BWF as an institution and the promotion activities targeted at Member Associations, players and other internal stakeholders in the badminton community.

BWF Communications Manager

BWF is recruiting a Communications Manager to work in the Marketing & Communications Department at the BWF headquarters in Kuala Lumpur.

Reporting to the Commercial & Communications Director and working closely with the Secretary General, the Communications Manager is responsible for managing the communications and media functions of the BWF including the management of the Communications Officer (future Communications Officers and any possible interns).

This includes developing and implementing the BWF Communications Strategy (together with various stakeholders), advising all BWF internal stakeholders on communication issues and all communication related matters, both internal and to all BWF external stakeholders.
