Education is important in the fight against doping, match fixing, illegal betting and corruption in sport. Education is the responsibility of administrators, coaches, trainers and other support personnel.
Each National Badminton Associations is responsible for implementing their own education programme. This should be supported by their National Anti-doping Organisation (NADO). The BWF is also responsible for providing an education programme – both awareness training and a programme that looks at the values of sport and the importance of fairness in sport.
BWF’s “i am badminton” campaign – focuses on educating badminton players on ethics in sport. Education is also the responsibility of administrators, coaches, trainers and other support personnel.
