Statutes Page Launched

BWF has launched a new page on the Corporate Website which brings together all the rules, regulations, guidelines and codes in the one location.

The BWF Statutes are the sum total of all the rules that apply to anyone who engages with the BWF and its activities or who participates in international badminton. This includes BWF members, players, technical officials, coaches, staff, volunteers at tournaments and so on.

The BWF Statutes consists of all the rules, regulations, guidelines and policies that cover the governance, management and the technical aspects of the sport. The BWF Statutes include the constitution, guidelines, policies, the code of ethics, codes of conduct, the judicial procedures, laws of badminton and all the technical regulations for badminton.

Chapters

The BWF Statutes consists of 5 chapters with sections in each chapter.

  • Chapter 1 – Governance
  • Chapter 2 – Ethics
  • Chapter 3 – Judicial Procedures
  • Chapter 4 – Rules of the Game
  • Chapter 5 – Technical Regulations
